Michelle Miller Named to Savoy Professional Magazine's Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America

(NYSE: MDT) today announced that the company’s vice president and senior counsel, Michelle Miller, has been named to Savoy Professional magazine’s list of most influential blacks in corporate America. The top 100 listing showcases a cross section of business leaders and executives who represent a diverse range of industries with a national and global focus. She has served the company as vice president and senior counsel, employment law since 1998 and assumed increasing responsibilities at Medtronic during that time. She is a member of the Executive Leadership Council, the Council of Diversity Executives IV of the Conference Board and President of the Minneapolis St. Paul Chapter of the Links, Inc., a nonprofit volunteer organization committed to broad community service with a focus on youth and the arts. Miller earned her law degree from the University of Minnesota, a master’s degree in counseling from Southern Methodist University and a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. She was also named a "Woman Worth Watching,” by The Diversity Journal, in 2007.
