Hillman Joins Bank of America to Head Marine Manufacturer Relations

CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of America announced today that Verdell Hillman has joined its Dealer Financial Services group as senior client manager for recreational boat manufacturers across the United States.

In his new role, Hillman represents a team of financial, product and industry experts who leverage the resources of Bank of America to meet the financial needs of boat manufacturers and dealers in the marine industry.

Hillman has 42 years of experience in dealer financing, including lengthy tenures with General Motors Acceptance Corporation, Borg-Warner Acceptance Corporation and Brunswick Corporation. He comes to Bank of America from Genmar Holdings, Inc., where he had worked since 1999 and was most recently vice president of credit and dealer development.

Hillman will be based out of his home in Stanwood, Wash., just north of Seattle.

Through its Dealer Financial Services unit, Bank of America provides retail loan financing and the full range of commercial banking services to dealers in the automobile, recreational vehicle, marine and motorcycle industries across the United States. These services include comprehensive inventory financing, commercial loans, depository services, and merchant and treasury management services.
