Shares of artificial intelligence (AI) software company Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ: PLTR) have been one of the great trades of the past few years. The stock climbed more than 20-fold from the end of 2022 through its 2025 highs as enterprises and governments rushed to put AI to work inside their operations. But 2026 has been a different story.
