Avchem to Provide Chemical Management Services for Lockheed Martin

ST. LOUIS, April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Avchem, a rapidly growing leader as a business process outsourcer for chemical management services, has signed a long term agreement to provide chemical management services to various Lockheed Martin locations throughout North America, effective immediately. Under the agreement, Avchem will manage the sourcing, procurement, warehousing, delivery, and logistics of hazardous materials for various Lockheed Martin sites, as well as related services for other sites throughout the U.S. and Mexico. Avchem will also provide environmental, health, and safety management services and assist Lockheed Martin in identifying additional opportunities for cost savings through process improvement.
