Shared Services Connected Limited (SSCL), Joint Venture Between UK Cabinet Office and Sopra Steria, Has Been Selected to Provide Shared Services for the Metropolitan Police

The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) confirmed yesterday that it has agreed to contract with Shared Services Connected Limited (SSCL) under a Framework Agreement to provide back office support services to the UK Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) from their shared service platform. Services in scope of this decision are predominantly transactional and in the area of HR, Finance, Procurement, Payroll and their associated IT systems. Contracts will be signed later next month for a period up to 10 years.

SSCL is a joint venture between the UK Cabinet Office and Sopra Steria delivering transformation in the public sector by streamlining and modernising systems, improving service quality and enabling clients to realise the benefits of substantial cost and efficiency savings.
