Salesforce.com Inc Profit Advances 40% In Q4

(RTTNews) - Salesforce.com Inc (CRM) announced earnings for its fourth quarter that increased from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $129.66 million, or $0.19 per share. This was up from $92.78 million, or $0.14 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.19 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 25.7% to $1.81 billion. This was up from $1.44 billion last year.
