Peter Goffstein Promoted to Senior Vice President for Commercial Net Lease Realty's Midwest Region
ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Commercial Net Lease Realty, Inc. , an equity real estate investment trust, announced today that Peter Goffstein has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Real Estate for the Midwest Region.
Goffstein joined NNN in May of 2002 as Director of Business Development for the company's joint venture development partnering program. In 2003, he took over the leadership of that program and was promoted to Vice President of Business Development in October of that year. Early in 2005, he moved to the company's Cincinnati office to help run the Midwest Region.
"Peter has been an important part of our development program," said Dennis Tracy, Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer. "He has been extremely successful in his leadership of our joint venture development partnering program, and he has been a powerful complement to Tom Yeager in our Midwest Region. Under Tom and Peter, our Midwest Region has become the role model for our entire development business."
Commercial Net Lease Realty invests primarily in high-quality retail properties subject generally to long-term, net leases with established tenants, such as Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, CVS, OfficeMax and the United States of America. As of September 30, 2005, the Company owned 464 Investment Properties in 41 states with a gross leasable area of approximately 9.0 million square feet. These Investment Properties are leased to 172 corporations in 60 industry classifications.
