PNE WIND AG: Wind farm portfolio to be marketed by selling it to investors

Cuxhaven, 5 September 2016 - The PNE WIND AG Executive Board has made the decision today with the agreement of the Supervisory Board to pursue the proportional or full sale of shares in the company where a portfolio of wind farms has been bundled into its own portfolio with roughly 152 MW to major investors or other strategic partners to the exclusion of the alternative course of action in the form of an initial public offering. This is based on the Executive Board and Supervisory Board's assessment that a portfolio sale is primarily a more secure transaction than an initial public offering.
