CSC Names Jose Jimenez President of Enforcement, Security and Intelligence Division
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., July 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Computer Sciences Corporation announced today that it has named Jose Jimenez president of CSC's Federal Sector Enforcement, Security and Intelligence division. Jimenez, who has more than 30 years of experience in national security and intelligence, will direct CSC's work for the Department of Homeland Security, the intelligence community and other national law enforcement and security endeavors. Jimenez reports to the president of CSC's Federal Sector business unit.
Previously, Jimenez served as vice president and general manager of Intelligence and Law Enforcement and the Special Systems Center for CSC's Federal Sector business unit. He joined CSC in 1999 through its acquisition of Nichols Research and Welkin Associates, where he was president of national programs for Nichols and a vice president and business unit leader for Welkin.
Jimenez served 20 years in the U.S. Navy as a flight officer flying reconnaissance missions and 10 years in the highly sensitive National Reconnaissance Office. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and a master's degree in management from Troy State University. Jimenez serves on the board of directors of the Fairfax County Court Appointed Special Advocates and is a member of the Armed Forces Communication and Electronics Association Intelligence Committee, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the National Military Intelligence Officers Association, the International Association of the Chiefs of Police, the Association of Former Intelligence Officers and the Security Affairs Support Association.
