Apple Suffers IPhone Leak

(RTTNews) - Apple suffered one of the major leak in its history after details of its upcoming iPhones were revealed online.

Two news sites were able to access "Gold Master" iOS 11, the unreleased operating system that will power the new iPhones.

The leak revealed that Apple plans to launch three new devices on Tuesday called the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. The new phones will also have facial recognition technology that will acts both as an ID system and animated emoji-maker.

According to 9to5Mac, one of two blogs that was able to download iOS 11 before it was pulled from Apple's servers, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus feature a faster processor, wireless charging, and a new glass back panel.

Apple is holding a launch event at its new headquarters on Tuesday.

The iPhone X is reported to feature an all-new design with an edge-to-edge 5.8-inch OLED display. The iPhone X will be powered by a new A11 fusion SoC, which features a six-core processor. The iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus sport 3GB of RAM, while the iPhone 8 contains just two.
