Amazon Music Unlimited Launches In Canada

(RTTNews) - Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) Wednesday announced the launch of Amazon Music Unlimited service for its customers in Canada.

Amazon had first launched its premium music streaming service in the U.S. in October 2016, and had expanded it few European markets as well.

Eligible new subscribers can sign up for a 90-day free trial. After the free trial period ends, Prime members can pay C$8 per month or C$79 per year to continue service. The individual plan for non-Prime members is at C$9.99 per month. The family plan, which allows up to six members of a household to share a subscription for C$14.99 per month for Prime and non-Prime members, or C$149 per year for Prime members.

"We've seen such a positive customer response from the launch of Prime Music for Canada last year, and with today's launch we're excited to bring more customers even more choice and ways of discovering music with Alexa," stated Sean McMullan, Head of International Expansion for Amazon Music. "We're thrilled for our Canadian customers to start streaming with Unlimited today, and begin enjoying expanded voice controls to play music for every moment."
