Moldova Producer Price Inflation Rises In July
(RTTNews) - Moldova's producer price inflation increased in July, after easing in the previous two months, data released by the National Bureau of Statistics showed on Tuesday.
Producer price inflation rose to 3.3 percent in July from 2.9 percent in June. In May, inflation was 3.0 percent.
Manufacturing prices increased 3.8 percent annually and producer prices in mining & quarrying rose 1.4 percent. Utility prices were unchanged for third month in a row.
On a monthly basis, producer prices increased 0.4 percent in July, after remaining flat in the previous month.
Domestic producer prices rose 2.1 percent annually in July and remained stable as compared to the previous month. Producer prices in the foreign market climbed 6.1 percent from last year and rose 1.2 percent on a monthly basis.
