London, 25 March 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service has today said that VimpelCom Ltd's (Ba3 stable) announced plan to refinance part of the debt of its Italian subsidiaries consolidated under Wind Telecom S.p.A. (Wind Italy) has no immediate impact on VimpelCom's rating. Any rating impact in the future will depend on whether the ring-fenced nature of Wind Italy remains in place as a result of implementation of the plan.
