Moody's: New default study reflects Moody's strong sovereign ratings approach
New York, April 11, 2014 -- A review of the performance of sovereign ratings that benchmarks rating performance against actual default experience since 1983 shows that they effectively rank-order and are highly predictive of sovereign default risk, says Moody's Investors Service in a report published today.
