Moody's: MetLife's SIFI repeal could increase shareholder pressure on remaining designated US insurers
New York, May 31, 2016 -- The recent court decision rescinding MetLife Inc.'s (A3 review for downgrade) designation as a non-bank systemically important financial institution (SIFI), could increase shareholder pressure for the other designated US insurers to challenge their own SIFI designations, said Moody's Investors Service.
