Zillow Q4 Profit Soars

(RTTNews) - Zillow, Inc. (Z) Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $2.7 million or $0.06 per share, compared to $549 thousand or $0.02 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted net income for the latest fourth quarter was $7.9 million or $0.19 per share, up from $2.8 million or $0.08 per share in the previous year quarter. On average, 14 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.07 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased 70 percent to $58.35 million from $34.34 million last year, while 13 analysts expected revenues of $56.18 million.
