Yandex Q4 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Russian Search-engine operator Yandex NV (YNDX) reported fourth-quarter net income of 7.57 billion Russian rubles or $134.6 million, up from 3.34 billion Russian rubles last year. Earnings per class A and Class b share rose to 23.44 rubles or $0.42 from 10.08 rubles a year earlier.

Excluding certain items, the company recorded a profit of 3.97 billion rubles or $70.5 million. Adjusted profit was 3.52 billion rubles a year ago.

Yandex's revenues grew 21 percent to 14.67 billion rubles or $260.7 million from 12.09 billion rubles in the previous year.

The company said that currently it expects revenue to grow approximately 15% in first quarter 2015.
