Women Completely Left Off List Of Favorite CEOs
(RTTNews) - Google CEO Larry Page has been voted as the favorite CEO in the U.S., by a survey conducted by Glassdoor. Surprisingly, no women CEO from any U.S. company made it to the list.
Google co-founder and CEO Larry Page earned a 97 percent approval rating from Google employees and jumped to the top spot from last year's ranking of No. 11. While, last year's favorite CEO Jeff Weiner of LinkedIn dropped to 12 position with 93 percent approval.
Job site Glassdoor lists the most favorite or highest-rated CEOs of large companies based in the U.S., on anonymous, voluntary employee surveys.
Nike's CEO Mark Parker also got 97 percent approval from his employees, but he was placed on the second position on the list. HEB CEO Charles Butt, Facebook's founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Ultimate Software's CEO Scott Scherr rounded off the top five positions.
Surprisingly, not even one woman CEO made it to the list, even though many Fortune 500 companies are being led by women, including Mary Barra of General Motors, Margaret Whitman of Hewlett-Packard, Virginia Rometty of IBM and Indra Nooyi of Pepsi.
