Why Shares of Uber Are Falling Today

Shares of the ride-hailing giant Uber (NYSE: UBER) are trading over 4.5% lower as of 10:49 a.m. ET today. The move came after rival Lyft announced a partnership with Waymo, a maker of autonomous vehicles.Uber and Lyft's platforms are critical for companies that make autonomous vehicles and want to deploy them to the masses. This morning, Waymo announced that it plans to launch in Nashville.
