Whole Foods Market Store In Dedham Recalls Yogurt And Granola Parfaits

(RTTNews) - The Whole Foods Market store in Dedham, Massachusetts issued an allergy alert on single-serve organic vanilla yogurt parfait cups with strawberries and granola, because the granola contained almonds, which were not declared on the label. One allergic reaction has been reported.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction, if they consume these products. Signage is posted to notify customers of this recall.

The parfaits were packaged in single-serve clear plastic containers and varied by weight. They were labeled as "Organic Vanilla Yogurt Strawberries and Granola", PLU number 25826 with a "Sell by" date between April 2, 2017 and April 11, 2017.
