UQM Tech. Chairman William Rankin To Retire; Replacement Named - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - UQM Technologies, Inc. (UQM) said that William Rankin would retire and resign as Board Chairman, effective April 30, 2014. Meanwhile, Donald Vanlandingham has been elected as the new Chairman, with effect from May 1, 2014.

Rankin, who joined the company in 1992, served as Chief Executive from 1999 until his retirement from that position in 2010. In 1996, he was elected to the board, and became Chairman in 2000.

Vanlandingham has been a member of UQM's board since 2003. Previously, he was the Chairman, President and Chief Executive of Ball Aerospace and Technologies Corp.
