UPM-Kymmene Corporation launches consent solicitation from holders of certain outstanding notes
(UPM, Helsinki, 29 April 2016 at 11:30 EET) - UPM-Kymmene Corporation launches a consent solicitation process to solicit consents from the holders of the outstanding notes of certain series of notes issued pursuant to its Global Medium Term Note (GMTN) Programme to amend the terms and conditions of such notes. UPM announced on 10 December 2015 a plan to change its corporate structure to better match its current business structure. The amendments to the terms and conditions of the notes are one of the requirements for implementing the plan.
The details of the consent solicitation and the proposed amendments are described in more detail in the attached Luxembourg Stock Exchange Launch Announcement and the Consent Solicitation Memorandum referred to therein.
