Titan International Q2 Profit Down

(RTTNews) - Titan International Inc. (TWI) Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of $23.2 million or $0.40 per share, down from $44.1 million or $0.84 per share last year.

Adjusted net income for the quarter was $13.7 million or $0.24 per share, up from $28.8 million or $0.56 per share last year.

Net sales for the quarter improved to $593.3 million from $459.2 million last year.

On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.47 per share on revenue of $597.82 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
