Tech Data Corp. Earnings Rise In Q4

(RTTNews) - Tech Data Corp. (TECD) revealed a profit for its fourth quarter that rose from last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $134.7 million, or $3.50 per share. This was up from $87.0 million, or $2.45 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $3.46 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 49.3% to $11.09 billion. This was up from $7.43 billion last year.
