SandRidge Energy Slips To Loss In Q2 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - SandRidge Energy, Inc. (SD) Tuesday said second-quarter net loss applicable to common stockholders was $34 million, or $0.07 per share, compared to net income of $804 million, or $1.46 per share, in the same period last year.

Adjusted net income for the latest second quarter rose to $44.6 million, or $0.08 per share, from $36.8 million, or $0.07 per share, in the year-ago quarter.

On average, 24 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.03 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues totaled $512.99 million, up from $478.43 million last year, while 18 analysts expected revenues of $435.14 million.
