Saba Prepares for Next Stage of Growth in the HCM Market; Seasoned Marketing Professional Vicki Morris to Lead Company's Global Expansion and Launch Plans

    REDWOOD SHORES, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 17, 2005--Saba (Nasdaq:SABA), the leading provider of integrated human capital management (HCM) solutions, today announced that it has hired Vicki Morris as vice president of marketing. Morris, formerly senior director of global product marketing at PeopleSoft, will be responsible for leading Saba's global marketing initiatives and next generation launch plans.
    Saba recently concluded a strong second quarter where license revenue was up over 36 percent compared to the same quarter last year. In 2005, Saba will continue to add more depth and value to its industry-leading Learning Management System. In addition, Saba plans to introduce a fully integrated management system to unify the management of core people processes, including performance management and talent management, as well as learning management.
