PTC Results Top Estimate; Outlook Weak

(RTTNews) - PTC Inc. (PTC) Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net earnings of $38.8 million or $0.33 per share compared with $56.5 million or $0.47 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.67 per share compared with $0.59 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter were $366.7 million compared with $344.8 million in the prior year.

Adjusted revenues for the quarter were $368 million compared with $345 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.62 per share on revenues of $352 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the first quarter, the company expects adjusted earnings of $0.47 to $0.51 per share on adjusted revenues of $310 million to $325 million. Analysts expect earnings of $0.54 per share on revenues of $334.5 million.

For the full year 2015, the company estimates adjusted earnings of $2.33 to $2.40 per share on adjusted revenues of $1.37 billion to $1.39 billion. Analysts expect earnings of $2.40 per share on revenues of $1.39 billion.
