Pier 1 Imports Appoints Jeffrey Boyer As EVP, CFO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Pier 1 Imports, Inc. (PIR) announced that it has appointed Jeffrey Boyer as its Executive Vice President or EVP and Chief Financial Officer or CFO, effective July 27, 2015.

Boyer joins Pier 1 Imports from Tuesday Morning Corporation (TUES) where he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer since September 2013.

Tuesday Morning currently anticipates that its Vice President and Controller, Kelly Munsch, will be responsible for the accounting and finance functions on an interim basis until Boyer's replacement is appointed.

Commenting on Boyer's role, Pier 1 Imports said he will have responsibility for its financial operations and accounting, including financial reporting, planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, tax and investor relations.

Laura Coffey will continue to serve in her role as Executive Vice President and Interim Chief Financial Officer until Boyer's appointment becomes effective, at which time she will be named to a separate executive position within the Company.
