Orbital Sciences Q3 Profit Rises; Lifts Annual EPS View - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Orbital Sciences Corp. (ORB) Thursday reported higher earnings for the third quarter, with revenues increasing by 5 percent year-over-year. Also, the group revised its full-year outlook.

Net profit rose to $21.2 million or $0.35 per share from $15.6 million or $0.26 per share last year. On an adjusted basis, earnings totaled $23.3 million or $0.38 per share. Looking ahead, for the full year 2014, the company now expects adjusted earnings per share in the range of $1.20 - $1.25 , up from the previous range of $1.10 - $1.20. Revenues are now projected to be between $1.35 billion and $1.37 billion, down from the previous range of $1.4 billion - $1.42 billion.
