NTT Docomo FY Profit Climbs; Sees Higher Results Next Year - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - NTT Docomo Inc. (DCM) reported Thursday that its fiscal year ended March 31 net income attributable to the company climbed 33.7 percent to 548.38 billion Japanese yen from last year's 410.09 billion yen.

Earnings per share were 141.30 yen, higher than 101.55 yen last year. Operating income grew 22.5 percent to 783.02 billion yen.

Operating revenues were 4.53 trillion yen, 3.3 percent higher than 4.38 trillion yen a year ago.

Further, the company announced year end dividend of 35 yen for fiscal 2016 and 40 yen for fiscal 2017.

For fiscal 2017, the company expects attributable net income of 640 billion yen or 173.22 yen per share a growth of 16.7 percent from the prior year. Operating income would grow 16.2 percent to 910 billion yen and operating revenues would grow 2.1 percent to 4.62 trillion yen.
