Mellon's Private Wealth Management Group Grows in Rocky Mountain Region

BOSTON, May 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mellon Financial Corporation announced that Sarah Williamson, Lary Weintraub, and Gregory Rosenblum have joined its Private Wealth Management group to pursue new business opportunities in the Rocky Mountain region. All three sales professionals are based in Denver and report to regional president Jon Stuck.

Sarah Williamson, vice president and senior sales director, joins Mellon from Ernst and Young, where she was responsible for cultivating relationships with high net worth individuals and senior executives. Williamson earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Denver, where she also earned an MBA. Williamson is a certified investment management analyst (CIMA) and is actively involved with SafeHouse Denver and the American Red Cross Mile High Chapter.

Lary Weintraub, vice president and senior sales director, joins Mellon from SouthTrust Securities, where he was responsible for developing new business opportunities with high net worth families in the Palm Beach, Florida market. He received his bachelor's degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice at City University of New York and earned an MBA from H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business at Nova Southeastern University. Weintraub is a member of the Financial Planners Association and earned his Certified Financial Planner designation from the College for Financial Planning in Denver. He and his wife are both actively involved in supporting the Allied Jewish Federation, Jewish Family Services, and the Jewish Community Center, where he is currently serving on the finance committee.

With over 20 years' experience in the trust and private wealth management industry, Gregory Rosenblum, vice president and senior sales director, joins Mellon from First National Bank of Colorado. He received his undergraduate degree in history from University of California, Los Angeles and his juris doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Rosenblum is a certified trust and financial advisor (CTFA) and a licensed real estate broker in Colorado. A Denver native, Rosenblum is a member of the Denver and Southeast Denver Estate Planning Councils, past president of the Denver Trust Officer's Association, board member of the Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable and a board member of Opera Colorado.
