Macy's Inc. Q4 Profit Climbs

The company's bottom line totaled $507 million, or $1.84 per share. This compares with $342 million, or $1.21 per share, last year.

Excluding items, Macy's Inc. reported adjusted earnings of $458 million or $1.67 per share for the period.

The company's revenue for the period fell 1.7% to $7.639 billion from $7.768 billion last year.
