LinkedIn Corp. Reveals 60% Rise In Q3 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - LinkedIn Corp. (LNKD) reported a profit for its third quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $0.16 billion, or $1.18 per share. This was higher than $0.10 billion, or $0.78 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.91 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 23.1% to $0.96 billion. This was up from $0.78 billion last year.
