LinkedIn Corp. Q3 Earnings Rise 57%

(RTTNews) - LinkedIn Corp. (LNKD) released a profit for its third quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $103.45 million, or $0.78 per share. This was up from $66.07 million, or $0.52 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.46 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 37.2% to $779.60 million. This was up from $568.27 million last year.
