L-3 Communications Promotes Sheila M. Sheridan to Vice President of Administration

    NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 22, 2005--L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) announced today that Sheila M. Sheridan has been promoted to vice president of administration. Her corporate office responsibilities in this new position will include overseeing staffing, employee relations and managing the office services department as well as the corporate office's business continuity program. On a company-wide level, Ms. Sheridan will be responsible for the coordination of all real estate and facilities activities, as well as management of the corporate travel program. She will also serve as the company's EEOC Coordinator.
    Ms. Sheridan will continue to be based in L-3's New York office, and will continue to report to vice president of human resources, Kenneth W. Manne.
    With 18 years of administration experience in the aerospace/defense sector, Ms. Sheridan joined L-3 in 1997 as director of administration. She has also held senior administrative positions at Lockheed Martin and at Loral Corporation, where she worked for nine years, departing as their manager of administration.
