Kelly Named President of Boise Office Equipment

Brent Kelly, vice president, general manager of Boise Office Equipment, has been promoted to president of this Xerox company serving the document technology needs of midsize business customers in Idaho. He replaces founder Mike Shannahan, who continues as BOE chairman. "Since Brent joined BOE in 1997,” Shannahan said, "he has been instrumental in developing our great team that, over the past 10 years, has delivered more than a seven-fold increase in revenues." Brian Landgren, president of Global Imaging System’s Northwest Group and parent company of BOE, said Kelly has 30 years of management experience in the office products industry and has "a thorough knowledge of Idaho office technology market opportunities. He brings to the BOE presidency a deep commitment to our continued success as we ramp up to provide a broad range of Xerox systems and supplies in addition to our previous offerings,” Landgren said. Previously Kelly served as sales manager, branch manager, regional manager and marketplace manager encompassing key markets in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah and Nevada. His experience includes management positions with Datafax, San Sierra, Alco Standard, Yost Office Systems and IKON. Boise Office Equipment became part of Global Imaging Systems’ Northwest Group in April 2006. Global was acquired earlier this year by Xerox (NYSE: XRX). BOE focuses on document workflow consulting, which results in sales and service of hardware and software for small to mid size businesses.
