Julian Posada Named General Manager Hoy Chicago

CHICAGO, Jan. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hoy, the nation's leading Spanish-language newspaper, with daily editions in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, named Julian Posada as General Manager for its Chicago edition, effective immediately. Posada will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of Hoy Chicago. This includes oversight of production, circulation, marketing and advertising sales.

Posada will retain his current Hoy business development responsibilities. He has been with Tribune Company since 1993 holding various leadership roles in marketing, business development and advertising sales. Previously, Posada held senior level positions at Citibank in Colombia SA, was a principal at the J.C. Williams Consulting group, and was Director of Business Development at Querico.com. He has assisted in the launch of two national non-profit organizations and currently serves on the board of the Academy for Urban School Leadership, Public Allies, McCormick Tribune YMCA, and is involved in various other committees within the Chicago Hispanic community. He was recently named a McCormick Tribune Fellow.
