J. Christopher Reyes Elected to Tribune Board of Directors

CHICAGO, March 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tribune Company today announced that Chicago business executive J. Christopher Reyes has been elected to the company's board of directors, effective immediately. Reyes is one of the founders and chairman of Reyes Holdings, L.L.C., one of the leading providers of food and beverage distribution services in North, Central and South America.

"Chris's business acumen and experience, as well as his extensive community involvement, make him a great addition to Tribune's board," said Dennis FitzSimons, Tribune chairman, president and chief executive officer. "He has an established record of success and will bring important entrepreneurial insight to the board."

Reyes, 51, currently serves as a director on the boards of The Allstate Corporation, Fortune Brands, Inc. and Wintrust Financial Corp. He also serves as chairman of Children's Memorial Foundation and vice chairman of Children's Memorial Medical Center and Northwestern Memorial Foundation. In addition, Reyes is a member of the board of Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the Museum of Science and Industry, and the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
