Gecina, First Private Operator to Welcome Paris&Co, to Develop a New 2,000 sq.m Incubator

Gecina (Paris:GFC) is launching an experimental partnership with Paris&Co by temporarily making available 2,000 sq.m of space in the Gamma towers. The move-in is scheduled for the first half of 2016. With this initiative, Gecina is the first private operator to open up its portfolio to Paris&Co, Paris’ innovation and development agency.

The Gamma towers are ideally located in Paris, on the banks of the River Seine, close to Gare de Lyon train station. The space made available for Paris&Co, with adapted financial conditions, covers two platforms, which will be used for developing an innovation platform able to accommodate over 40 startups. Through this initiative, Gecina is looking to capitalize on these spaces and support the creation of innovative businesses in Paris.

This operation follows the 1,300 sq.m coworking space opened recently in Neuilly-sur-Seine and entrusted to the startup Bureaux A Partager. Gecina is confirming its commitment to opening up its office portfolio to innovation, particularly by developing a pop-up workspace offering in its buildings.
