Munich, March 13, 2025 – cyan AG, a provider of intelligent cybersecurity solutions, today announces its preliminary figures for the 2024 financial year. The company achieved revenue growth of around 50% compared to the previous year 2023. This corresponds to consolidated operating revenue of EUR 7.1 million (2023: EUR 4.7 million). Revenue thus lies in the upper half of the guidance range of EUR 6.6 million to 7.4 million. As a result, cyan significantly increased EBITDA – as predicted – to EUR -1.6 million to -1.5 million. EBITDA in the 2023 financial year was still at EUR -4.5 million. This development underlines the fact that cyan is consistently exploiting the great opportunities in the cybersecurity market and continuing the growth course it embarked on in the previous year.

We got to know a highly motivated and extremely capable team and continued to build it up. Together we have made decisive adjustments and put cyan on a sustainable growth path. The dynamic subscriber growth and the positive development in sales and EBITDA confirm our strategy. With the recently launched cybersecurity solution cyan Guard 360, we have also broadened our product portfolio. We are building on these successes and investing resolutely in the future of cyan."

For the current financial year 2025, the management anticipates further operating sales growth to between EUR 8.4 million and 9.2 million. EBITDA is expected to improve significantly once again with the aim of achieving a black zero. The positive development is based on the further successful expansion of the end customer base, which increased by around 86% in the 2024 financial year compared to the previous year. Further impulses for the sustained positive development come from growth opportunities in the market. The focus is on expansion in the telecommunications sector in order to acquire further new customers and on the new cyan Guard 360 product as a security solution for SMEs. Thanks to sales growth and consistent cost management, cyan is in a stable financial position. Investments in the further development and market launch of the cyan Guard 360 cybersecurity solution in particular play a key role in company's growth. At the same time, cyan is investing more in sales in 2025 through new employees and sales activities in order to further increase market penetration, especially in the telecommunications sector, and to tap additional growth potential.
