Energy Transfer Equity Q3 Profit Up - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Energy Transfer Equity, L.P. (ETE) Tuesday reported third-quarter profit of $356 million, compared to a loss of $34 million in the same period last year.

Limited partner's interest in earnings increased to $150 million or $0.54 per share from $35 million or $0.13 per share last year.

Income from continuing operations totaled $343 million or $0.54 per share. On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.58 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues surged to $12.49 billion from $2.10 billion last year. Analysts expected revenues of $11.93 billion.
