Energy Transfer Equity Q2 Profit Up - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Energy Transfer Equity, L.P. (ETE) Wednesday said limited partner earnings for the second quarter increased to $127 million or $0.45 per share from $54 million or $0.19 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.64 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Earnings from continuing operations totaled $329 million or $0.44 per share, up from $68 million or $0.18 per share last year.

Revenues surged to $12.06 billion from $1.88 billion last year. Analysts expected revenues of $11.63 billion.
