EMCOR Q3 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - EMCOR Group Inc. (EME) reported third-quarter net income attributable to company of $45.0 million, or $0.68 per share from continuing operations, compared to $26.7 million, or $0.43 per share from continuing operations, in the third quarter of 2013. Included in net income for the third quarter of 2014 was an after-tax gain of $7.1 million, or $0.11 per share, associated with the sale of a building owned by one of subsidiaries. Non-GAAP per share, excluding RepconStrickland transaction expenses and gain on sale of building was $0.57, for the quarter.

On average, seven analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.65 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues in the third quarter of 2014 totaled $1.57 billion compared to $1.61 billion in the year ago period. Analysts expected revenue of $1.67 billion for the quarter.
