Eaton Vance Management Names Lisa Jones Head of Institutional

    BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 2005--Thomas E. Faust Jr., Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Eaton Vance Corp., announced today that Lisa Jones has joined Eaton Vance Management as Head of Institutional. In her new position, Ms. Jones will oversee all marketing, sales, consultant relations and client service for Eaton Vance Management's expanding institutional business.
    Prior to joining Eaton Vance, Ms. Jones spent 17 years at MFS Investment Management, where she served as President of the Institutional Division from 2002 to 2004. In that position, she had responsibility for all aspects of MFS's global institutional business. Her prior positions with MFS included Managing Director of the Institutional Division; Senior Vice President and Director, Bank Distribution Channel; and Regional Vice President and Bank Channel Wholesaler. Before joining MFS, Ms. Jones was affiliated with E.F. Hutton & Co. in New York.

    Ms. Jones received a B.A. in economics from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. She serves on the Trinity College Board of Fellows and is a member of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum Corporate Advisory Council and The Boston Club.
