Eagle Rock Energy, Regency Energy Partners Receive Second Request From FTC

(RTTNews) - Eagle Rock Energy Partners, L.P. (EROC) and Regency Energy Partners LP (RGP) said Friday that they have received a request for additional information and documents from the Federal Trade Commission in connection with the proposed contribution of Eagle Rock's Midstream Business to Regency.

Eagle Rock and Regency said they are working cooperatively with the FTC staff and that they plans to respond to the second request in a timely manner.

A second request extends the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended, during which the parties may not close the deal until 30 days after each party certifies substantial compliance with the second request, or the waiting period is otherwise terminated by the FTC.
