EA Announces Pogo.com in the UK and Germany
Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) today announced that Pogo.com™
is expanding its UK offering and launching its German-language service
in Europe. Casual game enthusiasts in these regions can now log on to www.pogo.co.uk
and www.pogo.de respectively and enjoy
free access to a vast variety of popular single and multiplayer online
games ranging from puzzle, word, casino, classic card and board games.
In addition, members of the rapidly growing UK Pogo community are now
able to participate in fun reward scenarios and win prizes as they play.
EA is set to launch the French language version of Pogo.com in the
coming months.

draws more than 11M unique visitors per month who play on average 53
minutes per day. Monthly unique visitors from UK have grown to 3.2
million with the launch of the local site. UK visitors spend an average
of 11 minutes2 a day playing and contributing
to the vibrant community. In both locations the majority of players are
female and over 35 years of age. All enjoy easily accessible and fun
gameplay and being part of the community of online Pogo players.
Members of the Pogo UK community can now also enter the Daily Prize Draw3
for their chance to win an MP3 player and vouchers, or even scoop up fun
prizes in one of the in-game Jackpot spinners available in designated
games.
Casual games fans across Europe can already enjoy the portable version
of easy pick up and play Pogo.com fun with Pogo™
Island, which is available now exclusively for the Nintendo DS™
system and features five of the most popular online puzzle games -- Word Whomp™,
