KSB is affected by cyber attack

KSB SE & Co. KGaA and further Group companies gained knowledge of being a target of a serious cyber attack during the night of 6^th/7^th April. Until this point in time, no encryption has been detected and ongoing operations were not affected.

In accordance with the contingency plan for such situations, necessary measures were initiated promptly; these are now leading to constraints in ongoing operations.

The task force that was set up immediately, is working with external cyber security and data forensic experts to restore normal operations as soon as possible.

An impact on the predicted economic development of the company cannot be ruled out.
