Curative Officers And Directors May Sell Shares To Repay Loans

    HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 10, 2005--Curative Health Services, Inc., (Nasdaq: CURE), announced today that certain of its executive officers and directors may sell some of their shares of Curative common stock in the near future in order to fund the repayment of loans owed to the Company. These loans were made in the first quarter of 2002 to encourage equity ownership by the Board and management by facilitating the exercise of stock options held by these officers and directors. These loans come due at various times during the first quarter of 2005. The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 does not permit loans previously issued to executive officers and Directors of the Company to be amended or modified.
