Comcast Corp. Q1 Earnings Rise 24%

(RTTNews) - Comcast Corp. (CMCSK) released a profit for its first quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $2.57 billion, or $0.53 per share. This was up from $2.07 billion, or $0.42 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 8.9% to $20.46 billion. This was up from $18.79 billion last year.
