CNOOC Says Its Wenchang 13-6 Oilfield Commenced Production

(RTTNews) - CNOOC Limited (CEO) Monday said its Wenchang 13-6 oilfield has commenced production. This is an independent oilfield in which the company holds 100 percent interest and acts as the operator.

Wenchang 13-6 oilfield, located in the west of Pearl River Mouth Basin with an average water depth of around 120 meters, is part of the Wenchang oilfields and shares the existing adjacent facilities for the development.

The main production facilities include one wellhead platform and 12 producing wells.

There are currently 5 wells producing approximately 1,300 barrels per day.
